Thank you for your interest in the Cape Ann TimeBank! We are very excited that you are interested in joining our TimeBank.

The mission of the Cape Ann TimeBank is to build a community among a wide range of residents of Cape Ann and to empower them to contribute to each other’s well-being through giving and receiving services. A timebank is an alternate economy that is based on time rather than dollars. Every member’s time is valued equally and exchanged on an hour-for-hour basis. The Cape Ann TimeBank is a network of people who show that we care about each other, rewarding people for helping each other. Once you are a member, for every hour you help another member, you earn a Time Dollar.

Orientation

After you submit this form we will contact you within 24-48 hours to set up an orientation to complete your membership process. All members of the Cape Ann TimeBank need to attend an orientation prior to joining so you can learn more about how the TimeBank works.  Also, during your orientation we’ll help you set up your account profile and walk you through how to use the main features of our website so you’ll be ready to start making use of your membership right away. 

Dues

New members are requested to pay annual dues when joining TimeBank and thereafter at annual membership renewal on April 1st. You will be given the opportunity to pay dues during your orientation with cash, check or credit card using Paypal.  Annual dues are suggested at a self determined amount between $15-$150 and are considered a tax deductible donation. No member is turned away due to lack of funds.
